Swagbucks vs. CashCrate

If you like our site, please leave comments. Thanks for stopping by.

It's tough out there. We all know it. Regardless of claims from Federal Government Agencies, people are still losing their jobs, and, unemployment is still too high. (I recently lost my job, and, it may take several months for me to find new employment. So, I write from first hand experience.) In response, people are looking to the World Wide Web for options that will help supplement their incomes. For many, the Web is viewed as the "New Land of Opportunity." In some cases, this statement has been proven to be true.
Unfortunately, for most people, the Web has turned into the "Pandora's Box" of the modern age. Web scams, scandals, frauds and schemes are being exposed on a daily basis. For the typical web user, it's difficult to know what to do anymore. How can we tell if a Web opportunity is legitimate or not? You can always check with a Review Site, but, most of them are also fraudulent.
How do you know who to trust? It's difficult to visit a website without having to disclose your personal information. Whatever happened to privacy? Apparently, we don't have privacy anymore.
So, what are we supposed to do here?
Here at FreeWebServ.blogspot.com, we have decided to be proactive. That's right, we are going to check out these claims ourselves, and, report our findings right here on the web. It takes a lot of work, but, it's worth it.
This is about real life experiences, not opinion. We go beyond the typical review.
OUR FIRST EXPERIMENT:
Over the last few years, there has been a lot of debate concerning Survey Sites. You know, sites that claim that you can make a lot of cash filling out surveys and other activities. Some of these claims seem hard to believe. For this reason, we have decided to put two of the biggest Survey sites on the web to the ultimate test. We will be pitting them against each other in the ultimate test, the test of legitimacy.
Swagbucks vs. CashCrate
First Up: Swagbucks

Search & Win We were able to sign up to Swagbucks rather easily. After confirmation of our email, we begin using the site. Within minutes, we began racking up Swagbucks. We used the Search option, we watched some Videos, and, we took advantage of some of the No Obligation Special Offers. We avoided any offer that would cost money, or, required us to use a credit card. (Even though some of the "pay" offers seem to be a great deal."
We decided to try out some of the Surveys. The Surveys can be extremely time consuming, and, you don't qualify for every offer. When we successfully completed a survey, we were rewarded with large amounts of Swagbucks. After about 3 weeks, we had collected enough Swagbucks to trade in on a $25 Paypal giftcard. The $25 was deposited within 6 days.
One important note: For only 450 Swagbucks, you can earn a $5 Amazon Gift Card. This is one of the best deals we have seen on the Web.
Next Up: CashCrate

Get Paid To Do Free Offers! Feeling positive about our experience with Swagbucks, we were eager to test out the second largest survey for pay sites on the Web. Like Swagbucks, it was very easy to sign up for CashCrate. After our email confirmation, we began to check out the site. As we began to check out the offers, we noticed a striking resemblance to the offers on Swagbucks. We quickly began racking up awards in small amounts of money for completing small offers. Much like our test with Swagbucks, we did not complete offers that required a credit card.
It became very apparent that the most lucrative opportunities fall under the categories of "Top Surveys" and "Bonus Surveys." The surveys can take some serious time. But, after completing a few successfully, we were able to rack up over $20 in cash. (Some of the surveys paid over $3.00 each.) The whole process took less than 3 days.
One Note: We had to wait for the check from CashCrate, but it did arrive in about 21 days after the first of the month.

CONCLUSION
- After testing both Swagbucks and CashCrate, we have concluded that both sites are legitimate. We followed all the rules, and both sites paid us. CashCrate took $3 as a processing fee.
- Swagbucks has a larger site, with more offers and more options from the SwagStore. CashCrate doesn't have the same number of reward options, but, we were able to accrue Cash more quickly than we could accrue Swagbucks.
- Stay away from any offer that requires a credit card. If you have to use a credit card, then, it isn't FREE. Unless you are REALLY interested in these type offers, stay away from them.
- Don't ignore the intrinsic value of both sites. Playing the games, taking the surveys, etc, was fun. Earning some cash for having fun made it a great value.
- Are you going to get rich? Not a chance. The best you will do is make some extra spending money. Fortunately, neither of these companies claims that you will "get rich." So, at least, they are honest about it.
- NOTE: We realize that not everyone will have the same results as we did here at FreeWebServ. However, our results do support many of the positive reviews posted by satisfied people all over the web.
- The main factor in using these sites is Time. If you have the time, go for it.
- The best strategy is very simple: Try them out, and, judge for yourself. Hit the links and become a member of both sites. You may walk away with some spending money.
